Full description
This is a silver and gold version of the Cluster necklace that already features in the Artigiana Jewellery shop.
It is made in the same way as the rest of the collection taking small pieces of sterling silver and fusing them until they form balls (granulation) and then soldering them together to form a larger cluster. Some balls have fused together and others remain in tact and separate. 9 carat gold has also been fused into 11 balls and they have been added to the cluster. The pendant has been polished in a barrel polisher so that the top layer of balls is shiny and the lower levels are opaque. The pendant is hung off a double length rolo sterling silver chain and fastened with a handmade S - hook.
The cluster has a diameter of around 3.5 cms at it's widest point. Total length of necklace is 28 cms. The pendant can be put on a shorter or longer length chain, please let me know if this is what you would like.
