Signed, stamped, hand titled, hand numbered, limited edition and/or A/P mounted print of original illustration by Mark McPhelim
Limited number /250 and A/P release of /5
This illustration has been a labour of love. I wanted to create a unique image showing Glasgow's amazing architecture, old and new. An image I would want on my own wall.
Line by line and after one hundred hours of work, there are twenty seven iconic buildings ranging from the old Provand's Lordship right up to the shiny new Riverside Museum of Transport...and everything in between.
At first glance, with it's weathered edge, it's old style typography (with a subtle touch of Gaelic!) and it's illustrative style and feel - it does have tones of an antique piece. Look closer though, and you'll discover a real mix of Glasgow's historical past and exciting future.
