This is a really pretty bucket bag. The exterior fabric is a lovely soft chenille/tweed type fabric in pastel shades of green and pink. The interior fabric is predominantly pink with a pale green paisley print - the two fabrics complement each other really well.

Touches of burgundy linen, as well as adding strength, also adds highlights to the edges of the front pockets, top band and one side of the slightly padded straps.

All my bags are fully lined and hand finished.

I'd had the chenille fabric for a while, but wasn't sure what to make out of it. Then someone suggested a Folksy challenge with a Scottish theme. But all the tweed fabric i found was too dark. So in the end i settled on using this as a variation on the tweed theme, but giving it a springtime makeover!
