Grandma Moses's painting are amazing and the original barkcloth prints are very rare. I had a little fabric some months ago and jumped for joy when a freind recently found me a little more in the USA.

Brand new quality rolled edge lampshade by Folly&Glee made from a stunning original vintage cotton barkcloth fabric featuring a fabulous einter scene painted by American folk artist Grandma Moses.
The painting is actually called Early Springtime and was painted in 1945. The artist wrote of her inspiration. "These are the damp snow days," Moses wrote, "when we love to go to the woods and look for the first bloom of the trailing arbutus, which sometimes blooms beneath the snow, or gather the pussy willow. Those are the days of childhood."
The drum shade as photographed measures 35(13")diameter and 43(16")high. The shade is fitted for use with a table/floor lamp or as a ceiling pendant - please specify which you need. If you would like a smaller shade in this fabric do get in touch.
