I love hearts! Perhaps a little too much! I have used my 'Hearty Range' design to make a whole range of useful and practical kitchen ware. Some people have just one item from the range, while others have been buying a whole array. I also try to have a wide price range so that no-one feels priced out.
I am a firm campaigner for British, hand crafted goods, and I always try to source gifts and things for my home from fellow crafters! Quirky, handmade things all the way!!

Full description
This lovely bowl was made in my studio in Devon, and is part of my 'Hearty Range'.
It is made using clay cutouts of hearts of 2 sizes, these are then laid in a plaster mould. I then smooth the inside using more clay, to create this unique and lovely looking design. The bowl was then fired to 980C.
The main glaze is a stoneware glaze called 'marcasite', I covered the whole bowl in this glaze and then 'washed back' the outside, leaving the natural white-ish colour of the clay showing. Finally I glazed various hearts in red, blue, green and yellow. The bowl was then fired again, this time to 1220C.
All my ceramics are micro-wave, dishwasher and oven proof.
Size- it is approx. 13cm tall, base rim is 10cm across, and top of the bowl is 23cm across.
