Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is simple floral design, especially for spring, of a gorgeous streaky blue flower, an iris. Its strappy leaves are bright green and it has a pretty floral bead at the centre of the flower enhanced with some bits of golden yellow glass.
The suncatcher hangs from a chain which is securely attached to the top of the iris. This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece even when making the same pattern.
It will make a lovely present for anyone. It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light and welcomes in the sunshine.
The first 2 photos are of the iris for sale here. The 3rd photo shows another 3 I have made of this design so you can see that though all are made using the same pattern, each is different.
This will make a lovely Mothers Day or Easter present.
