Full description
This adult-sized knapsack is pieced in reproduction vintage prints from the 1940s and 1950s. The external pockets feature a pieced pinwheel design and the knapsack is fully quilted for additional strength and vintage charm.
The sturdy adjustable webbing straps are padded with fabric for added comfort.
Four generous outside pockets have elasticated tops. The two side pockets are big enough for a water bottle or compact umbrella. The two front pockets close with a button loop for additional security (water bottle and glasses case shown in photo for demonstration purposes only and are not included in sale).
Inside, the full lining includes two internal zippered pockets, pen holder pocket, and a key holder with a metal toggle fastener. The base is reinforced for strength.
A handy carry handle is provided at the top, behind the flap which fastens with a snap fastening. The knapsack closes with a drawstring top of nylon cord threaded through metal eyelets, and held with a spring toggle. The nylon cord has wooden beads on its end.
Approximate measurements are 12 inches wide at the base, 6 inches deep, by 15.5 inches high.
Materials: All fabric is 100% high quality cotton, quilted over 100% cotton wadding. Webbing, drawstring and zippers are nylon, adjustable buckles and the buttons are of plastic. Bottom is reinforced with heavy duty interfacing.
