Being inspired by the Mastercrafts series by Monty Don, I decided to go on a weaving course in 2010. I loved it so much I saved up and bought my own 8 shaft Ashford table loom, and this is the result! I have used 8 shaft and 4 shaft weave structures and luxury yarns to create this unique phone holder - stand out from the crowd!

Full description
Treat yourself or a friend to a totally unique, hand made item. This phone cover will fit an iphone, or any phone up to 11.5 cm tall (7cm wide).
It has been hand woven on my 8 shaft Ashford loom, using a charcoal grey cotton for the warp and a range of bright, rich colours for the weft.
The warp is made from a rich charcoal mercerised cotton which has a beautiful sheen. The weft is made from leaf green and burn orange tweed wool yarn and forms a striking zigzag pattern. The orange bands are demarcated by hot pink bands of merino wool in sateen, which makes them really stand out. Once woven the fabric was cut off the loom and carefully washed in warm water and ecover delicate detergent. It should be hand washed in cool water when necessary.
The hand woven fabric is oversewn to help protect the edges from fraying and is gently supported with cotton interfacing. It is lined with black cotton. The whole feels lovely, soft and luxurious!
This is a one-off item - and will not be repeated exactly the same.
