Extremely chic plump oval shaped drop earrings featuring exotic freshwater pearls on silver plated lever back ear hooks in soft pastel colour shades of soft apricot and mint green.
Pearl size : 7mm x 1in/3cm (L)

About freshwater pearls ;
Freshwater pearls are pearls made using tissues taken from a donor pearl shell mussel which is then treated and later grafted onto more peices of mussel tissue, which is then shaped & coloured to its finished state. They are also known as cultured pearls due to the fact that they are partially manmade by building up layers of mussel tissue alongside other shell materials, unlike natural pearls which are found living inside of a mussel shell which are retrieved from the Sea bed by deep sea diving & numerous other fishing practices.
Freshwater pearls are an excellent way to own this much sought after item, without the need for extra disruption to the worlds oceans and its inhabitants.
Freshwater pearls are also more affordable to most individuals due to the technique of being able to produce more of this item because of the way that it has been made, compared to the labour intensive/disruptive method of diving for pearls as described above.
