Full description
Following on from the success of my Owl and the Pussycat prints, I decided to make a few brooches based on my design using shrink plastic. I can't tell you how much fun it is to put a larger version of your design in the oven and watch it curl and shrink down, down, down!
This particular brooch has two layers, with the sea and the fish lying on top of the boat, which gives a lovely 3D effect. It measures approximately 68mm x 47mm and is finished with a 20mm brooch pin (with safety catch) securely glued to the underside. Each brooch comes mounted on a card and in a stripy paper bag, ready for giving, or just for treating yourself.
Please note, due to the nature of the plastic used, there may be slight variations in the size and colour of each brooch. It's part of the charm.
