Full description
Designed by me, Ballooning Mice measures about 32cms. The basket measures 6cms by 6.5cms wide and is made from plywood coated in papier mache (the plywood gives it extra weight for stability).It has then been painted with acrylics.The ochre fabric edging is muslin with vintage red linen buttons.The mice are made from coffee,cinnamon and vanilla dyed Osnaburg fabric as is the balloon,which also has vintage red linen buttons.The ' balloon ropes' are rusty wire and extend well into the stuffed ballon.The little mice are sat on a piece of fabric so that they can see where they are going ( and their tails don't get cold).
This is sold as a collectable.
