One of the other sellers on Folksy made a special request for a Cupcake birthday card for her daughter who loves anything pink and girly.
It would have been easy for me to have just produced a single cupcake as a pop-up but, that's not really my style. I try to incorporate an element of depth to my pop-ups too. The 'stepped' idea for the cupcakes is a variation on my wedding cake design, though I had to plan and design this card from scratch.
The pop-up is printed on a single sheet of A5 size paper and is cut and folded to become the cupcake tiers. I'd say this was the most difficult part of the design - fitting all six cupcakes on one sheet of paper.

A lovely glitzy card.
Perfect as a birthday card or perhaps an unusual wedding card.
This card is very pink, but don't worry if pink is not your colour as I can easily make it in other colours - just contact me with your requirements. I also have a Multi-coloured Cupcakes card available.
The Cupcake design was drawn by myself and is printed onto smooth white quality paper. The entire design is cut and folded by hand. The cupcakes are hand decorated with various shades of glitter and silver coloured foil. The outer layer is white card printed with a border and greeting. The border is embellished by hand with silver holographic glitter.
The card is A6 in size (15 cm by 10.5 cm) when closed and is supplied with a white diamond flap envelope and protected in a cellophane pocket.
25 pence from the sale of this card will be donated to Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity (registration number 299679), of which I am a registered fundraiser.
Please note:
This card is not intended for use as a toy and adult supervision is recommended if children wish to 'play' with it.
Customisation:
If you would like an alternative greeting e.g. Happy Birthday Steph or a different coloured card, please contact me and this can be arranged at no extra charge. Please allow an extra couple of days to receive your card.
