I was looking to create a special Mother's Day pop-up card. I played around with different types of flowers before deciding to draw some simple blossoms, which I then scanned into my computer. Sometimes the simplest things are the best!
The blossom spikes reminded me a little of lavender, and having some spare lavender oil I experimented with applying the oil to the back of the blossom spikes. The end result being a beautiful card with a scent of lavender too.

Full description
A beautiful bouquet of blossoms is concealed within this pop-up card.
The bouquet design is drawn by myself (with some help from my computer) and printed in shades of blues and lilacs onto smooth quality paper. Five lavender scented blossom flower spikes are attached onto specially cut layers to give a 3-dimensional effect when the card is opened.
The front of the card has a multi-coloured border printed in blues and lilacs. The greeting is printed in a forget-me-not style floral patten.
The card is A6 in size when closed (10.5cm x 15cm) and is supplied with a white diamond flap envelope and protected by a cellophane pocket for protection.
Being handmade, there may be slight variations between the card you receive and the one pictured.
25 pence from the sale of this card will be donated to Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity (registration number 299679), of which I am a registered fundraiser.

This card is not intended for use as a toy and adult supervision is recommended if children wish to 'play' with it.
