I've always been fascinated by code - from Morse code (which my great uncle, who was a coder in WWII, taught me when I was at primary school) to Braille, Semaphore, the genetic code (which became part of my professional life for several years) and binary.
My husband is a programmer and developer so it seemed a perfect idea to create something in his language and combine my passion for recycled elements - if you look closely you'll notice that the tiny love birds are hand cut from actual vintage floppy disks.
