Full description
A PDF knitting pattern for a family of penguins.
These delightful penguins are simple to knit and have removeable accessories for added play value.
They are knit flat on two needles using double knit yarn.
Adult penguins are approx 14cm tall and baby 9cm tall.
The 9 page pattern has clear instructions and lots of colour photos of all the stages, including sewing up and finishing.
You need to be able to cast on, cast off, knit, purl, increase and decrease.
The pattern involves very simple colour work. There are instructions and photos of this if you haven't done it before.
In addition to yarn, you will need:
toy stuffing
toy safety eyes
a small piece of white felt
My patterns are written in standard uk terms.
I have worked for several years writing project instructions for UK craft magazines, including knitting patterns.
You may make toys to sell using the pattern, but you cannot sell the pattern itself.
