Full description
These chunky little hens are part of a collection of hens I have been making. They are hand formed from a solid ball of clay and scratched and marked with tools on the surface.
I have taken inspiration from my own garden hens and these little ladies would make the perfect gift for hen keepers and collectors.
Mother hen measures approximately 4cm and her chick measures approximately 2cm they sit level on a flat surface, richly coloured with oxides,stains and glazes.
This particular duo have been coloured with a beautiful glossy blue stain and clear glaze over the top.
