This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a penguin made with super shades of black glass streaked with white and a front of streaky white glass. It would be a super Christmas present for anyone who collects penguins as they will definitely not have one of these.
This also makes a really fun present for a child. Hanging in the window where it catches the light and it would make a lovely ornament for any room, especially a bathroom.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the penguin's head. It is 12cm high and 7cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
Please note though that this is made of glass which is delicate and is an ornament not a toy.
The first 2 photos are of the penguin currently for sale here. The 3rd and 4th photoare of others I made previously. This is so you can see that though similar they are never quite the same.
