Full description
Cut from a sheet of gorgeous Uroboros glass, this beautiful one of a kind pendant has been lovingly created to add to my jewellery collection. No two of my pendants will ever be the same as the glass used for each individual piece varies depending where in the sheet it was cut from.
The glass used for this particular pendant has a cream base with almost irridescent patches of blue, green, amber and mauve. I've tried to capture the irridescence of the glass but after many photos was unable to get a good image of it.
The glass for this piece was hand cut, smoothed to the perfect shape, carefully edged with copper foil and then a light coating of lead free solder was added. The silver coloured spirals forming the overlaid design were hand crafted and then carefully lined up and soldered to attach it to the glass piece. A silver plated ring was added to the top and then the whole piece was carefully washed and polished. Lastly a silver plated jump ring has been used to attached the piece to a 41cm (16 inch) silver plated snake chain.
The pendant itself measures approximately 56mm by 20mm including the ring.
This will be supplied in a hand embellished black jewellery box
Please note: Only lead free solder has been used to make this which means it is fine being worn next to the skin, but if you do have sensitive skin lead free solder contains tin, copper and silver
