Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher entirely handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
Its wings are made of beautiful types of glass in turquoise shades with subtle hints of pink. I've used some streaky glass and some iridescent textured all of which give it movement, The body is iridescent bright turquoise with a lot of shimmer as it fitting for a dragonfly
It has pretty flower beads for eyes and curly hair just for fun.
The dragonfly is 16cm wide and 10cm high. This would make a lovely present. It looks beautiful hanging in the window where it catches the light all year round.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the dragonfly.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. Every one is different.
My suncatchers make super presents and are also really good when hanging in french or conservatory windows to stop the birds flying into the glass.
Please note that this is an ornament made of glass and not a toy.
