I love the subtle shimmery colours within the opalite beads, they change from blue-green to yellowy pink depending on how the light catches them. The antique finish of the silver wire frames the opalite and shows it off really nicely.

Full description
These elegant opalite earrings feature teardrop opalite beads which have been framed with sterling silver wire, and hung from handmade sterling ear wires. They have been oxidised to give a dark antique finish which shows off the subtle colours within the opalite beads perfectly.
They would make a great gift, or why not treat yourself!
These earrings measure 4cm from the top of the ear wires and have been finished with a rub of microcrystalline wax, to help preserve the oxidised finish.
Opalite is the synthetic version of opal, it is a much harder and more durable version of opal which is quite soft.
