Full description
A fun, hand-crocheted rug upcycled from cotton jersey t-shirts. All t-shirts were freshly laundered, hand-cut, pulled and spun into balls of yarn. Then I used a chunky 15mm crochet hook to work this baby in the round. I selected a muted palette of white, light and dark greys, midnight blue, sage green and red ochre.
This rug would add a splash of handmade originality to your bathroom or kitchen, in front of your favourite armchair, next to your bed or on your front porch; it looks especially good on weathered floorboards! Alternatively, you could also use it as extra padding on your sofa or car seat. So versatile and extremely eco-friendly.
Machine washable - I recommend a low temperature and gentle setting, pull into shape and lay flat to dry.
Measures 50cm or just under 20" in diameter.
