This is a unique stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It comprises five little bright red Makintosh roses each with a shiny red nugget in the centre.
They are strung together to make a string / mobile suncatcher and I have attached a little shiny bell to the bottom of the chain.
Each little rose is individually made using several different textures and shades of red glass. Each flower is different.
The string can hang anywhere, in a window, against a wall, from a light ..and has a little loop at the top to hang it.
It looks absolutely super hanging up where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room. It also makes a very special present.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and types of glass. This piece comprises 20 separate pieces of glass, 5 nuggets and a bell. It is approximately 40 cm in length.
The first photo is of the string for sale here. It is a bit tricky to photograph as Folksy photos have to be square and the String is long and thin. I have done my best to show it to you.
The 2nd photo is of the other rose string I made earlier to show you that each is always unique.
I now make 10 types of Strings as shown in photos 3 and 4, and I also sell these on Folksy.
Please contact me if you would like a different colour, another type of string.
