Full description
The box is made from heavy duty board that has been covered in fabric mache and is quite robust.The head and arms are made from painted linen, the head sits on a thread wrapped cotton reel and the arms are attached using buttons and wire.The arms are also wired .The hat, arm and box decoration are transfer prints on calico with the words by Mr Shakespeare - 'by the pricking of my thumbs,something wicked this way comes'.
The box contains a book of spells - made from linen and cotton with machine embroidery - within which is a love spell (written by me and not Mr Shakespeare) and also 20 assorted needles.Also there is a small phial of bat's blood ( no, It's not real) and a phial of virgin's tears (also not real ).All these thing's ( along with the eyeball that the witch holds) are the required ingredients for the spell! The box also contains her familiar, Greymalkin and a rather inedible painted cotton pumpkin,both of which can be used as pin cushions.
The overall height is about 36cms and width about 26cms.
Definitely not suitable for children !
