Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a new design based on squares within a square. In the centre and at each corner are matching coloured glass nuggets and the inner squares are framed with an iridescent clear border. I have used 4 toning colour and textures of glass, mauve and pinks for the 8 small, 1inch, internal squares.
The suncatcher is is 5” square and hangs from the corner from a silvery chain securely attached via a soldered wire ring.
This looks lovely hanging in the light where it shines and would make a wonderful and unique present.
I never make two pieces exactly the same. Even from the same pattern I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
I have included 3 photos of the suncatcher for sale here and a 4th photo of one I sold in different shades so you can see that though the same pattern, they are different.
