I always prefer to line dry my laundry, and I love to make toy creatures... so when my old peg bag wore out I decided to have some fun with a new design. I made a cat, then a bird, then all sorts because people kept asking for them!
They take a few hours to make with all the little legs, beaks, wings etc. - but I think it is worth it to make something that is a bit of everyday fun, as well as just useful.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

An alien monster... Peg bag!
My quirky character peg bags with a unique construction for ergonomic use.
Bubbles is available now; but I usually custom make these. Actually Zing alien peg bags have been around long enough to develop a passion for earth foods, which explains their varied colouring (they take on the colouration of their favourite food)! Bubbles is fond of blueberries-and the odd can ring pull!
He likes pegs too but in order to blend in and get a job he has promised he will just look after them – not eat them up.
As well as being cute, quirky and completely original to WonkyGiraffe, These pegbags are very robustly made. You won’t need another for years (please do look at the feedback on them)…
Also, at last a peg bag that guys wouldn’t be embarrassed to have hanging around they place (because men do laundry too); or maybe my ninja or combat guy designs would appeal!
They fascinate children as well; so are great for helping mummy or using for toy tidying. Contact me if you would like a larger one, a mini-me matching set or a custom idea. Zings came to visit their earth cousins as I have lots of them too; all sorts of other characters and animals (some of them can be seen on my blog).
Ergonomically designed for ease of use; with two sided double topstitched, “just right” sized, openings and one easily accessible pool of pegs that won’t spill out.
Approx. 28x35cm Made with care from robust cotton fabric with a solid wooden hanger. They work hard for ages.
