Full description

This lovely little candle snuffer hs been hand-built using stoneware clay and fired using a traditional Japanese firing technique known as raku. It is glazed on the outside only with a lovely white crackle glaze and a drip decoration in turquoise, and mushroom glazes. The inside has been left unglazed and already blackened by the firing process - so perfect for snuffing candles!

This candle snuffer measures 9cm tall and 5cm in diameter at the base. The handle is stamped at the base with my own unique pottery seal.
