Lovely limited edition screenprint inspired by the shipping forecast.
"And now the Shipping Forecast, issued by the Met Office on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency...". A quintessentially British listening experience!
I'm a landlubber but often find myself sitting with a nice cup of tea listening to the shipping forecast on Radio 4. There's a certain poetry in the names of those sea areas, everyone has their favourites, mine are German Bight & Dogger. I like to imagine salty old sea dogs huddled around crackly radios eager for news of incoming gales.
Three-colour A3 screenprint. Blue-grey background & a stripy mug of tea. Two mug stripe options; blue or green. Signed, titled & numbered on reverse. Limited edition of 23. (NB 09.09.11 - I'm running quite low on the blue striped mug prints, snap one up while you can!)

Printed on satisfyingly thick 220gsm Seawhite cartridge paper. Paper Dimensions (Approx) 29.5cm wide by 42cm high. There is a small white border around the image (approx 2-3mm)
Fits Ikea 'Ribba' frame. Can be flat mounted or matted/framed with a mount.
