A bit like the Remington Razor... I wanted a strong, stylish satchel capable of taking a laptop plus other bits and couldn't find anything made in the UK that fitted the bill. A chance encounter with old shoe making machinery and 4 years later, here we are - but only for the remainder of 2011. Then they will become a collector's item!

Full description
Hand-made in Norfolk, the Traveller was designed as a laptop flight-bag, a sort of super-satchel for my own use and offers multi pocket capacity and security.
It fits the cabin luggage basket at the airport, and takes my MacBook Pro in its neoprene case - as a size guide you can get a chunky Yellow Pages in there!
It features harness leather fittings, solid brass buckles and a fully adjustable webbing/leather shoulder strap and measures 42 cms x 33 cms x depth expanded 18 cms approx.
"The Traveller" is made from a heavyweight rubber-backed canvas fabric (which makes it water-resistant). In addition to the main compartment, it has 3 pockets:
• one on the front, secure under the flap fastening
• a zipped one in the main compartment
• and a handy, easily accessed open-topped pocket at the back, snug against the body for newspapers and maps with a further integral divided pocket for ipod, phone, pen etc.
The main compartment, which also has a sewn-in strong key-clip (you'll never wonder where your keys are again) will take a lap-top, books and/or overnight things.
