Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is very much a limited edition as at the centre is a multi-faceted clear glass crystal and I have only very few of these. I designed it especially to hold the crystal and have used textured, iridescent glass for the inner ring and turquoises, purples for the outer to match the sheen of the iridescent glass and enhance the sparkle of the central crystal.
It is 14 cm in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
It can hang in a window or just against a wall and it is would make a wonderfully colourful addition to any room.
This would make a lovely present. It is absolutely unique.
This item is totally individual, is the first I have made of this design and I am really pleased with it. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
I have included five photos of the suncatcher to try to show you the different colours and the textures of the glass and the facets of the crystal.
