Full description
Baby Bear is loosely based on a 1930's Steiff baby bear.He's made from Kunin felt which is very thick and actually bears no resemblance to traditional felt and is imported from the U.S.His muzzle is made from coffee dyed linen as are his feet.He has little vintage glass eyes,which gives him a slightly inquisitive look.(Just like the real thing).His little feet have been needle sculpted and then has black thread accentuating his toes.His belly is packed full of organic wheat berries to give him a bit of weight and stability and to make sure he doesn't go hungry.His ruff is a piece of vintage Broiderie Anglais.
He measures 34cms standing (but not unaided) and is25cms. sitting.
Bear is sold as a collectable and not suitable for children.
