Full description
Queen Bee is made from linen,that I have painted, sanded then over dyed with coffee and cinnamon.She is made from the same pattern as the Primitive Angel,but was very nearly made into a witch !
Her nose is needle sculpted and her antennae are made from curled rusty wire.The wings are made from a 1950's petticoat that I have dyed and then further stiffened and crumpled, then dryed.They are attached with a rusty look safety pin.
She measutes about 20cms tall and has a wingspan of about 26cms
.Her base contains sand so could be used as a light weight doorstop,bookend or could just sit happily on a shelf.(the flowers are just for decoration and do not come with the bee).
