Reading Mouse is made from coffee and cinnamon dyed linen, which has then been sanded for an aged appearance.He has black glass bead eyes and a black button nose. I have made his spectacles from rusty wire which reach through his ears so that he doesn't loose them (as mice are rather prone to mislaying their specs ).His tail and arms are jute washing line, his whiskers are vintage button thread.
His book is made from scrap book and writing paper , the cover has then been hand printed with' The Mouse of the Baskervilles' .
He measures about 15cms. and has enough wheat berries in his belly to use him as a paperweight.
He is sold as a collectable and not suitable for children.
