Keep this salt pig next to your hob and you can easily reach in for a dash of rock salt to throw into your cooking.
I threw this salt pig on my pottery wheel using strong white stoneware clay and I've tilted it to one side to make it easier to reach into.
The opening is about the size of the average cook's hand
I've been told some people think it's unhygenic to handle the salt so I've included a nice little bamboo spoon (sadly not made by me).
I gave one of these to a friend for her birthday and she uses it to keep her cotton wool balls in.
Glazed in a classy granite grey speckle glaze with a clear white glaze inside.
Dimensions--11cm x 12cm x 10cm.
Weight. 450gms.
Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
Items will be well packed--I'd hate any to get broken on the way.
