This cute card is in the shape of a Retro Dog, and looks great standing up, no boring straight edges on this card
Card has been designed and handmade by pollypurplehorse and features:
Quality ionised pearlescent card base, which has been cut into a hound dog shape and the front has been covered with beautiful pink floral paper from a Papermania collection
Colour scheme is pinks with a scattering of creams and touch of green
The little doggy card has an ear, eye, nose and little tongue hand-cut from felt
He also has a little googly eye for that fun mischievous look
There is a little story to how this little doggy card came to be, I recently found an old book of soft toys that I enjoyed when i was a child, I remember making some of the little toys, the book was published in 1972, this little doggy is from that book, he is referred to as 'A Bonzo Hound', I thought I'd make a little girly version in card and used a designer paper with a vintage feel :-)
I do hope to make a soft toy version soon, when I can find some suitable fabric, so do keep checking my store
Card is suitable for all kinds of occasions, birthdays, thank-you, or just to say 'hello'!!
Card has been left blank inside for you to add your own greeting
This special shaped card measures approx. 21cm x 10cm
Card is supplied with an envelope and will be protected in a clear cello dust jacket before being carefully packed for posting
