Full description
Lapis lazuli gemstone beads, deep midnight or cobalt blue with plenty of iron pyrite flecks (the 'fools gold' of alchemy) make up these handcrafted earrings. Each bead is wrapped with antique bronze wire for a stunning vintage feel. Blue and brown are such a beautiful combination here.
Somehow, these earrings remind me of antique globes pivoting on their axes - it must be the spiral of wire around the gemstones that does it.
These are the first in a new collection of antique bronze, vintage style handmade pieces from Blue Forest Jewellery.
Supplied gift wrapped and in a tarnish resistant bag. To care for these sweeties, wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing to preserve the shine.
These earrings hang from antique bronze earwires.
Dimensions: total drop from piercing nearly 7 cm (2.5 inches): beads are 12mm, 6mm and 4mm: shown on 1cm squared paper in the final shot to give you an idea of scale: please note I use macro photography to show details and the items may appear larger than life size on your monitor.
