Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This is a bright coloured 8-point wheel made from triangles in all the colours of the rainbow. I have used some lovely types of textured glass and filled the 8th, extra rainbow colour, with a pretty green-blue glass.
The centre is made from a gorgeous muti-faceted crystal (from a chandelier) which shines beautifully in the light.
The suncatcher is lovely in its simplicity and would make an unusual and beautiful present. It lookssuper hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
It is 4 inches in diameter.
The 3 photos are all of this piece. I can make it in other colours, not rainbow, if you prefer. Please contact me if you do.
