Full description
Rows of blue, pink, and white ribbons layered onto felt, organza and chiffon to create a really beautifully textured and coloured surface. Hand dyed textured wool has been used to suggest the knarled trunk of a tree in sparkling spring blossom. A heat gun has been used to melt back and distort the fabrics adding to the texture and colour. The image is 15cm x 15cm mounted and framed within a 24cm x 24cm dark wooden frame.
