Full description

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

It is another new design based on a medal shape but as I have hung it diagonally it could equally be a bow. At the centre is an enormous diamond. Sorry, not a real one but a beautful multi-faceted crystal from an antique chandelier.

The four main pieces are of 2 types of lovely Rosy Pink glass and I have used two different types of textured clear iridescent glass for the side. This gives a three dimensional effect and together with the central crystal makes it very sparkly indeed.

The suncatcher is 4.5” square and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top.

This will make a wonderful present for someone or just for yourself as it is very special and absolutely unique.

I never make two pieces exactly the same. Even from the same pattern I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.

I have included 2 photos of this pink suncatcher and a 3rd / 4th of the other I have for sale on Folksy in lilac shades.

I can make this in other colours, please ask, but not many with the central crystal as my stock of these is very limited. When these run out I will have to use round glass nuggets.
