Full description
A totally individual ceramic bowl. The stoneware clay has been hand rolled and lightly textured and pressed into a mould. Strands of dried grass were pressed into the clay whilst still soft. The word 'friend' has been impressed with steel letters. The bowl was biscuit fired with the grass still in place - it burns away in the firing process. A subtle purple stain was added and then finally a clear glaze for a slight sheen. The bowl is apprx 18cm x 13 cm. A perfect gift for a perfect friend.
