Full description
Dasies, in shades of lilac, are grouped against the knitted background of this square brooch.
The flowers are stitched in tapestry wools, the background, knitted in a pure wool yarn, has been knitted, and then fulled (felted) for closer texture. The background is first basted to a wool fabric background.
The back of the brooch is neatened with commercial felt. A knitting ribbon yarn of mixed fibres is couched as a frame around the edge of the brooch. A brooch pin is securely stitched in place.

tems of embroidered jewelry may not be entirely colourfast and care should be taken that jewellery items do not get wet in use in case colour should be transferred to items of clothing.
