Enamel Copper Disc Flower Earrings

Eye-catching handmade torch enamelled flower earrings 20mm handcut concave copper discs formed with wavy edges to resemble a flower have been torch enamelled with several layers of warm nut brown enamel A transparent orange red enamel, which creates a lovely peachy - orange colour on top of the nut brown has been added to the centre of the flower creating a pretty colour contrastThe handmade ball-end sterling silver earwires form part of the flower design with the "ball" at the centre before curving upwards to form the hook of the earwireThe backs of the discs are also enamelled in a smoky black Soft and subtle in colour Lightweight and easy to wear

Torch enamelling involves sifting enamel powder onto prepared metal and heating from beneath with a torch until the enamel powder fuses and becomes glossy and smoothVarious effects can be achieved and it is very addictive!
