Full description

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

This one is specially made in deep pink by request.

It is a pretty little deep pink flower made of 5 glass heart petals and 5 very pretty pink lampwork flower beads. The centre is another bead, clear with a pale pink central ring.

The petals are made from textured deep pink glass, in as rosy a shade as I could find (True pink glass is quite rare and appropriately very expensive) and the 5 little in the centre catch the light. I have left holes between them to make the nuggets stand out and to give added interest.

The flower is 9cm in diameter and hangs from a strong nylon thread which is securely attached to the top of the flower.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. This will make a wonderful present at any time for someone you love but especially for Mother's Day or Easter.
