Bound in a single thick piece of vegetable tanned leather this journal has one of our hand tooled designs on the cover. The antiqued finish is applied by hand to pick out the design and the natural markings in the leather. This makes each book unique and the tone and grain of your journal may vary from the image shown. The covers are held closed by two cords finished with leather beads.
The Triquetra is an ancient design that symbolizes the importance of the number three in many spiritual traditions. In paganism it represents the triple aspect of the Goddess (Maiden, Mother and Crone). In Christianity it represents the Holy Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). In our design we have encircled the Triquetra with a border of leaves.
