Full description

This is a unique stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

It will make a lovely present for anyone, for Mother’s day, Birthday, Easter or just at anytime for yourself or someone you love.

It comprises five little red roses, round Machintosh style, all with a gorgeous multi-faceted crystal at the centre (from an antique dismantled chandelier).

The 2nd and 4th roses are in red / amber shades and the other 3 are all bright reds. I have used 5 different red shades and textures of glass and the strings sparkles beautifully in the light.

The roses are strung together to make a string / mobile suncatcher and I have attached a pretty silver bell to the bottom of the chain.

The string can hang anywhere, in a window, against a wall, from a light and has a little loop at the top to hang it.

It looks absolutely gorgeous hanging up, especially when the crystals catch the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and types of glass. This piece comprises 20 separate pieces of glass, 5 crystals and a bell. It is approximately 45 cm in length and each rose is 5.5cm in diameter.

I have included 4 photos and tried to show the different colours and textures of glass in the roses and the central crystals and the bell. Sorry but tricky to get a good clear photo in a square shape but I have done my best.

This is my first rose string but I also make butterflies, daisies, hearts, dragonflies, angels and stars. Please contact me if you would like one of these.
