Full description
A piece of patchwork in shades of cream, with highlights of peach, pink and slate grey, forms the body of this practical bag. The strap is long enough to be worn across the body.
The patchwork is formed from furnishing fabric and has been embellished with ribbons and couching over yarns - mohair, slubbed pure wool and cotton chenille.
The bag is lined with a cream patterned fabric containing a separate pocket. The body of the bag is reinforced with heavy weight interfacing. The bag strap is formed from a tan fabric. The strap is attached down the sides of the bag to form the gussets. It is 'pinched in' at the top of the bag by a binding in chenille yarn, before continuing to form the strap. The bag closes with a loop over a vintage button.
