Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This is a brand new design and I really like it. It would make a lovely gift , for yourself, or someone you love.
It is a simple, bright red Machintosh style rose made using several different shades and textures of red glass. The centre of the flower is a bright red glass nugget. The flower is in a surround of raindrop clear glass and the square is in a square frame of more clear glass. The picture is then lightly framed with twisted wire which highlights the simplicity and brightness of the flower.
Hanging in the window it catches the light and it would make a lovely ornament for any room.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain and is 15 cms square.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
All 5 photos are of this rose picture, being the only I have made. I can make it in other colours, perhaps a pink rose might be good. Please just ask.
