Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This would make a lovely gift - Easter, Mother's day or Birthday present for someone you love..
It is a simple, Mackintosh style red rose, made using different types of bright red glass with streaky green glass leaves in a clear heart. The heart is made from prettily textured clear glass which contrasts nicely with the simplicity of the rose.
Hanging in the window it catches the light and it would make a lovely ornament for any room.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the rose. It is 11 cm high and 13 cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The first 3 photos are of this Rose. The 4th shows this and the other 2 rose themed suncatchers I have just made. The 5th is the only other one I have made of this design.
I can make it in other colours, perhaps a pink rose might be good. Please just ask.
