Cheerful daisies, embroidered in tapestry wools form the deign for this pretty bookmark.
The decorated panel has been formed from a piece of handknitting, fulled (or felted) to give a closer texture, and machine basted to a thick woolen fabric. The daisies have been embroidered onto this panel. Felt is stitched in place to neaten the back of the panel. Couching over a yarn in greens and yellows, frames the design. The 'tail' of the bookmark is a length of ribbon.
