Full description
A handmade stoneware soap dish or bowl decorated with raised patterns on the surface.
Glazed with a rich cobalt blue on the inside with a little pool of verdigris glaze in the centre.
I have stamped the letters SOAP in a little strip of clay at the top of the bowl which has been glazed with a caramel colour. The underside of this bowl has been left unglazed but features a feint veined texture on the surface of the clay.
Measures approximately 12cm.
Fired to 1260c, strong and durable.
