Full description

Stretch bracelet featuring Lapis Lazuli tubes and 6mm round beads, embellished with gold flowers and tiny faceted Lapis beads for just a hint of sparkle.

Four 6x10mm Lapis Lazuli tubes are separated by trios of 6mm Lapis Lazuli rounds, separated by a 5mm golden Tibetan style flower bead highlighted with 2mm faceted Lapis Lazuli.

Lapis Lazuli is the most popular alternative to Sapphire for the September and Virgo birthstone

Lapis Lazuli is an ancient rock, an aggregate of the minerals lazurite, calcite and pyrite.

It has been prized by human civilisations for over 6000 years.

Cleopatra famously used ground Lapis for her eye make-up and Renaissance artists made a costly pigment from it called 'ultramarine', perhaps the most famous example being the headscarf in Vermeer's 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'.

It is thought to promote self awareness, clarity of mind and inner peace and historically the stone symbolised friendship and truth.

Handcrafted in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a lovely handmade gift for an anniversary, September birthday, a special 'Thank You' or as a well-earned treat for yourself.

This bracelet measures approximately 7 inches (18cm).

Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in an organza gift bag.

Price includes delivery within mainland UK.
